For anyone interested in working with children, this is a fairly unique opportunity offering hands on experience, leading to an excellent grounding for a future career.

Volunteers are called upon to work both within a team and on their own consequently there is the challenge of dealing with unexpected problems and making the important decisions, which will solve them.

There is a customised training programme (based on an NVQ programme) available and all volunteers who begin in May will undergo first aid training.

Many volunteers have gone on to work with children all over the world but the experience of working at the Centre is one that undoubtedly stays with them for many years.

We are open for 16 weeks from May to the end of August, all you need to be is over the age of 18, with no criminal record and a genuine interest in children and we will give you the rest.
